Global Document Services,LLC

Global Document Services (GDS) provides professional document scanning, secure shredding, and digital archiving solutions. By requesting a quote or scheduling a service, the Client agrees to the terms outlined herein.

When you visit our website, we collect specific information that your browser sends to us called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser version, pages of our website that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, and other statistics.

Standards: GDS operates in strict accordance with HIPAA and FACTA compliance guidelines.
Personnel: All GDS employees undergo rigorous background checks and sign strict confidentiality agreements prior to handling client data.
Chain of Custody: For shredding services, GDS maintains a secure chain of custody until the point of destruction. A formal Certificate of Destruction is issued upon completion of every job.

Flat-Rate Billing: Shredding services are typically billed at a flat rate per bin or console (e.g., 65-gallon bins or executive consoles) to ensure transparency.
One-Time Purges: Estimates for bulk purges are based on the volume provided at the time of the quote. Significant deviations in volume may result in price adjustments.
Recurring Services: For Smart Shred Program clients, billing occurs on a set monthly or per-service cycle as defined in the service agreement.

Preparation: For scanning services, clients should identify any specific indexing or OCR requirements.
Prohibited Items: For shredding, clients must ensure bins contain only paper-based products. Contaminants (e.g., heavy plastics, metal hardware, or hazardous materials) may result in additional fees or refusal of service.
Access: Clients must provide GDS technicians safe and reasonable access to the documents or consoles on the scheduled service date

While GDS utilizes high-security industrial shredders and advanced scanning technology, GDS is not liable for any loss resulting from documents that were not properly turned over to GDS personnel or for data lost due to client-side hardware failure after digital delivery.

GDS collects personal information (name, phone, location) solely to identify and contact clients for service. We do not sell or share data with third parties. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
